This is an online resource for the Mu Delta Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity, Inc. Our chapter was formed in 1979 at Longwood College, now known as Longwood University. We take part in various events on campus and in the community and share our love for music.
"The Object of this Fraternity shall be for
the development of the best and truest fraternal spirit;
the mutual welfare and brotherhood of musical students;
the advancement of music in America
and a loyalty to the Alma Mater."
Although our philanthropy finds its roots in music, we are a social fraternity. Our member's fields of study range anywhere from business, psychology, accounting, history, and computer science, to music and more! Anyone with good character and a love for music is welcome in Phi Mu Alpha. You won't find us through the IFC, so if you're interested in joining Phi Mu Alpha please contact Joshua Golub [joshua[dot]golub[at]live[dot]longwood[dot]edu], our Fraternity Education Officer. If you're of the Feminine persuasion there's not much he can do for you, but perhaps you might be interested in Longwood's chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota? They have a website too.
